The line going into the ground in this picture is a perpendicular line. In the picture the ground (colored pink) is the plane, while the line (colored green) is the perpendicular line. A perpendicular line will always create a right angle when it crosses a line. This picture shows an oil pump which is used by oil miners. This image can relate back to the oil industry, which is important for daily life because oil is a main natural gas, used for running cars and other objects of use.
